The idea of moving to a new city can be daunting, leaving the normalcy of the community that you currently reside in can seem challenging for a lot of people. If only there was a welcoming committee in every new city and every new neighborhood to show you around and give you all the local recommendations.

The city of Bellevue, WA is located in the Eastside region of King County, located just across Lake Washington from Seattle. Bellevue is pretty central located, being said it is an estimated 15-20 minute drive into downtown Seattle, the closest international airport (Seattle-Tacoma International Airport) is just under 25 minutes, and the closest entrance to the main freeway, 405, is under 5 minutes from most of Bellevue.

Although we may not be able to take you on a guided tour through your new city, we want to ease the transition with some of the favorite recommendations of ours in the beautiful city of Bellevue.

    • 53 acres of gardens made up to be able to walk through and learn of the local species of plants and woodland life that Bellevue has inhibiting its rural areas

    • Free admission for all guests

    • 21 acres of green grass and walking trails in the heart of downtown Bellevue

    • Perfect for afternoon walks with children and friends, or great for working out or walking a dog

  4. Meydenbauer Bay Park — 419 98th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98004

    • A beautiful lake front park surrounding Lake Washington

    • Walking trails, playgrounds, picnic tables, and beach access — perfect for families and children
